Program
Camp CaHiTo Resident – Sleepaway Camp is perfect for the first time and experienced campers alike! Participate in exciting activities like no other each morning. Including, hiking Mission Trails, Snorkeling with Leopard Sharks (the harmless ones), Rock Climbing, Extreme Adventure Courses and more. Then, each afternoon campers can choose from traditional camp activities and electives such as fort building, archery, art & crafts and more. Our CaHiTo Resident Camp also showcases our most popular activities, games, and traditions such as our animal party, star gazing, archery, movie night, swimming and game night. General Information
Camp CaHiTo Resident Camp is located at 3101 Balboa Drive, San Diego, CA 92101 on the west side of Balboa Park. Drop off begins Monday from 8:00 am – 8:30 am. And pick up at the end of the week is from 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm. We will offer extended hours for a nominal additional fee; Monday morning extended hours start at 7:00 am and after hours on Friday ends promptly at 6:00 pm. A snack will be provided during the extended hours.
Our staff works hard to ensure an age-appropriate, inclusive, supervised, and fun camp experience for each and every camper. At Camp CaHiTo Resident Camp we sleep in Wall Tent’s. Each Wall Tent sleeps up to 10 campers, and our adjacent to the bathroom and near our individual showers. Camp CaHiTo is accredited by the American Camp Association, following over 300 national standards for health and safety, and has an on-call nurse and director team available 24/7 during the camp program.
At Camp CaHiTo, we work hard with each camper to help them get the most out of their camp experience. Whether we are developing new skills such as independence and teamwork through a shared living environment; discovering new passions with the choice of dozens of electives, or making new friends while playing games and making jokes in the cabins. Camp CaHiTo is a great place to learn new skills while having an absolute blast!

Camp Fire SD Membership All campers are required to become a Camp Fire SD member for $25. Benefits include but not limited to Member Only Discounts, Newsletters, and Events. Membership is valid for 365 days. Remember when registering for future camps to use your same login credentials, Membership Fees purchased in separate family accounts are non-refundable.
